Logitech Webcam Reviewed

There are a lot of webcams out there in the marketplace today, but Logitech Webcam is superior to all other models. We will review several different models so that you can make an informed decision.

Logitech Webcam QuickCam Pro 9000
This is one of the more stylish designs that fit snugly over the top of your monitor. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. Believe it or not this webcam works better than my overpriced camcorders. They use something that’s called RightLight technology that enables the proper light depending on what lights are currently on. This feature by itself blows away the competition. Another great feature of this webcam is that it utilizes Carl Zeiss optics which delivers a true picture quality difference unparallel to any web video that you’ve seen. This may be pricey at under $100, but it is well worth it for the quality that you are getting.

Logitech 2 MP Portable
This webcam works best with a laptop. Even in low light, the image quality is superb. Comparing this to an older model that I’ve been using for the previous 4 years, the movements and frame are rather smooth. Previously, I was told that I looked like a blur because of the erratic camera quality with low frames. Now, people are telling me that they can see me move in “real time.” If you’re thinking about using this webcam with Skype, it’s a perfect match. Just note that if you use Skype with this webcam, you must close the Logitech software because your images cannot be used by more than one program at once. Overall, I am satisfied with this camera except the stand that the camera came with. It is wobbly and does not serve a valid purpose. Besides this minor flaw, this webcam is definitely a great option to consider.

Logitech Webcam C500
This webcam would be classified as mid-level. It appeals to people who want a webcam without all the bells and whistles. There are a lot of simple features. The picture quality is still great, and much more inexpensive than the previous two models reviewed. This is targeted for those that want a simple webcam and do not want to pay an arm and a leg for it.
